The Band Profile…
Inner Days is a four-piece York band playing classic rock, pop and the occasional off-the-wall cover, spanning the 1960s to the present day.
Being of a certain age, we’ve lived through the seismic changes in music — from rock ’n’ roll and psychedelia to new wave, Britpop, indie and beyond. Although it’s fair to say that one or two of us stopped somewhere along the way… and are still there!
We’re a group of friends brought together by a shared love of music and a passion for playing live. The band features Mel, Tim and Ian on guitar, with Steve on bass.
We’ve played at many local events and festivals and were the house band at Ainsty Brewery in Acaster Malbis until the brewery closed in 2025. We’ve built up a varied repertoire that includes well-known classics, great singalong favourites and the occasional unexpected choice.
We play at pubs, clubs, parties, festivals and private events, tailoring our set to suit the audience and the occasion. Whether you’re after a relaxed afternoon of familiar favourites or a livelier evening of classic rock and pop, we’re happy to put together a set that fits your event.
We provide all our own equipment — all we need is access to mains power, and we’re ready to play.
